If there was a project any coach that is hired would've to align his tactics, philosophy and vision with the club's. Besides, given the calibre of players at the disposal of the club what it needs to do, is strategic recruitment, that is recruiting players to specifically fill in positions the club is lacking and not the wholesale recruitment it is currently doing. It does appear the club is doing knee-jerk panic reaction recruitment just to satisfy Mourinho, because it wants to end the Barcelona dominance.
