According to TuttoMercatoWeb, De Bruyne's future has once again sparked transfer rumors.

Manna: De Bruyne is a Napoli player

Napoli sporting director Giovanni Manna responded to outside rumors at Di Marzio's press conference. He clearly stated: "De Bruyne doesn't have any decisions to make, he has one year left on his contract, plus an option to renew for another year. Kevin is a Napoli player. For us, this is a significant financial investment, but due to injuries, his performance has not reached the expected level."

Manna subsequently admitted that he was not happy with some of the Belgian star's recent statements, but did not question his stay or departure: "To be honest, I don't like those remarks, but we will talk it over and clear the air." These statements at least for now rule out the possibility of De Bruyne leaving soon, and also show that Napoli will communicate directly with the player before making any decisions.
