On July 27, according to transfer journalist Romano, Ajax is close to signing forward Tolu Arokodare from Wolves.

Romano said that Ajax is close to completing this new striker deal.

The agreement between the two clubs has been finalized, with the deal being a loan with an option to buy, for a total package slightly above 20 million euros.

Romano stated that Ajax sees Tolu Arokodare as a priority target, and all parties are currently working on the final details.
