Job Bellingham stated his desire to take on a leadership role at Borussia Dortmund, and that the past two weeks of preparation were intense but enjoyable.

"Many young players trained with us, and they all performed very well. This makes me very happy. Physical exertion doesn't scare me. On the contrary, I enjoy these tests; they allow me to challenge myself and see how much I've improved compared to last season. It means a lot to me to wear this jersey again and train with the ball. All summer I've been thinking about coming back here, training again, playing again. I can't wait to start."

Job Bellingham said that he would go to Birmingham in the summer and go to the gym with people he knows.

"Honestly, I just go back to Birmingham and go to the gym with some people I know. I'll try to follow the plan the club gave me, maybe add a little extra. I don't think that can hurt."

Regarding his leadership role, Job Bellingham stated that he has played many games in his career and is no longer a child.

"Many players in the team are younger than me. I think experience is not just about how many games you've played, but also about learning from every moment. I've experienced many such moments in my career, and now I feel I can take another step forward and gain more from these experiences. If I can also help others – help young players, help my teammates – and make Borussia Dortmund more successful, that's good for everyone."

Regarding his midfield partner, Nmecha, Job Bellingham stated that he and Nmecha still have a lot of room for growth.

"I think as partners, we both have a lot of room for growth, both on and off the field. We get along well, and the more we play together, the stronger this chemistry will become. You can expect both of us to perform greatly next season. I feel more comfortable at the club, in the team, and with the coaching staff. I'm really looking forward to this season, and I believe that Nmecha and I will both play important roles in it."
