Borussia Dortmund received a warm welcome from Japanese fans upon their arrival in Osaka, with players fulfilling autograph and photo requests outside their hotel. Job Bellingham was particularly patient.

Outside the hotel, fans were already prepared before the bus even turned the corner. The bus entrance was a sea of black and yellow – numerous Japanese fans gathered, jerseys in hand, pens ready, and phones poised. They were thoroughly prepared: one fan held up Nmecha's jersey on cardboard, pen already aimed at the signature spot; another held a sign that read, "Nmecha, can I get your autograph? Welcome to Japan." Other fans had prepared English versions for Job Bellingham.

When the bus appeared, fans raised their phones and stood on tiptoes. Temperatures in Osaka exceeded 34 degrees Celsius, a stark contrast to the approximately 20 degrees Celsius when Borussia Dortmund departed. However, the Borussia Dortmund players showed no signs of the long journey or jet lag, patiently fulfilling fans' autograph and selfie requests.

Job Bellingham, in particular, spent a considerable amount of time, being the last to enter the hotel, ensuring every fan was satisfied.

That afternoon, the team also had further activities planned: after participating in their first cultural events, the players would hold their first light training session in Japan.
