According to an article by Pietro Mazzara of MilanNews.it, Milan's summer transfer operations have lost their "surprise effect," and the current focus has shifted to selling players.

Mazzara wrote in his column that the shock generated by Milan spending over 100 million euros on Gonçalo Ramos and Mario Gila from late June to early July has faded. For Ruben Amorim, these two were undoubtedly priority targets, and Mazzara is confident of this, but Milan clearly cannot maintain such a spending pace throughout the entire transfer window.
