According to football-italia, Besiktas has opened negotiations with Milan regarding Leao, while the team's negotiations with Salah failed to reach an agreement.

These two pieces of news are likely related, as the Turkish club plans to sign big-name players this summer to assist coach Italiano.

Salah's contract with Liverpool expires on June 30, and he had reportedly agreed to personal terms and was about to join Besiktas as a free agent.

However, Turkish media A Spor reported today that negotiations between the two parties have encountered a critical obstacle, with disagreements over shirt sales revenue sharing and agent commissions.

This issue has caused negotiations to completely stall, while Belgian transfer expert Sasha Tavolieri pointed out that Besiktas has opened substantive negotiations with Milan for Leao's transfer.

The current issue is consistent with the situations previously faced by Galatasaray and Fenerbahçe: Milan only accepts pure cash transactions of €50-60 million, rejecting loan-to-buy schemes.
