Due to the impact of the FIFA World Cup, the 2026 summer window is particularly special. Some players hope to finalize their future before heading to North America, some players will wait until after the FIFA World Cup to make a decision, and some players have seen their value skyrocket due to their performance in the FIFA World Cup, forcing clubs to adjust their recruitment plans.

The transfer windows in France and England opened in mid-June, and clubs in the top five leagues have until September 1st to strengthen their squads, while the Premier League will close early on August 31st. Bayern Munich completed two transfers worth 50 million euros: acquiring Nathaniel-Brown from Eintracht Frankfurt and Ismael Saibari from PSV Eindhoven.

The price for Zabi's transfer to Paris FC was 25 million euros. Faced with European giants, Ligue 1 chose not to follow suit. Paris FC took the lead, with the signing of Patric-Zabi announced in early February. The Ivorian midfielder had previously made a name for himself at Reims, and after joining for 25 million euros, he remains the most expensive signing in Ligue 1 this summer.
