On Monday, Freund spoke with Maximilian Koch of the Abendzeitung München about Bayern Munich's transfer plans for the remainder of the summer window.

Regarding further transfer activity, Freund said: "We won't make any more major signings. The squad is already excellent, and we've completed the two transfers we wanted. We also don't want to overexpand the squad, so there won't be significant further changes."

This summer, Bayern Munich signed Moroccan midfielder Saibari from PSV Eindhoven for €50 million, followed by left-back Nathaniel Brown from Eintracht Frankfurt, also for €50 million.
