According to the Daily Mail, Vinicius's vast commercial empire is delivering substantial returns for Real Madrid, making the Brazilian winger one of the most commercially valuable players in world football.

The Daily Mail's sports section reported on Saturday that Arsenal are ambitiously exploring the possibility of making a blockbuster move for Vinicius this summer, provided he does not renew his contract with Real Madrid. The Brazilian international's current contract is set to expire at the end of the 2027-28 season, and he did not participate in pre-season training on Monday. His representatives are in crucial negotiations with Real Madrid over a new contract.
While Real Madrid are reluctant to pay the 26-year-old Vinicius the same salary as his teammate Mbappé, they are eager to retain him because of his global superstar status and his involvement in 16 brand partnerships. Among players participating in this summer's World Cup, Vinicius ranks second only to Neymar, who has 20 endorsements, in the number of sponsorship deals. Since his World Cup selection, the brand promotion content he has posted on social media has accumulated over 100 million views, and he has become an iconic figure for Brazil and Real Madrid.
Since joining Real Madrid in 2018, Vinicius has signed lucrative commercial contracts with brands such as Gatorade, Pepsi, Prada, PlayStation, UNESCO, Visa, and Nike. He also endorses Boss, Clear, Omo, Rexona, Betnacional, Dubai Tourism, Havaianas, Vivo, and Marriott Bonvoy, bringing his commercial portfolio to a total of 16 companies.
According to Spanish media outlet AS, when Vinicius renewed his contract in 2022 (expiring in summer 2027), he agreed to cede approximately 50% of his image rights to Real Madrid. Consequently, half of his commercial earnings go to Real Madrid, making him one of the biggest "goldmines" in world football. The newspaper jokingly stated that Vinicius is essentially "paying his own salary at Real Madrid" – at least until a new contract is agreed upon.
Vinicius's commercial empire could present a potential obstacle in Monday's contract renewal negotiations, while Arsenal's significant interest will undoubtedly give him leverage.
Frederico Pena, CEO of Roc Nation Sports Brazil, Vinicius's agency, said his client has now reached a status comparable to an enterprise. "Despite his young age, Vinicius is already a key player for the world's biggest club and most important national team," Pena said. "He has won the Champions League twice and been central to those victories, serving as an example of resilience and sporting success for most Brazilians. Furthermore, he never shies away from important social issues, whether through his stance or his contributions to the community. All of this means that the number of brands interested in his image continues to grow. We have a structure, including a CEO, CFO, and administrative, legal, commercial, marketing, and communications departments, responsible for managing everything. There are dozens of activities involving numerous sponsors, as well as social initiatives centered around his personal foundation, which is now a global leader in innovative teaching methods for children and youth, and in teacher training for anti-racism teaching practices."
Vinicius's explosiveness on the field may help Real Madrid move closer to winning championships, but his true value lies in the commercial empire he has built off the field.
