Yann Bisseck has signed a new five-year deal with Inter.

The 25-year-old was linked with a move to Bayern Munich this summer, but has instead committed his future to the reigning Serie A champions.

Bisseck has made 103 appearances for Inter across three seasons, scoring eight goals and providing four assists for the Nerazzurri.

He has won two Serie A titles, one Coppa Italia and one Supercoppa Italiana during his time in Milan, and could now add more silverware to his cabinet under Cristian Chivu.

Bisseck previously denied rumours suggesting he was on his way to Bayern, and the centre-back has backed up his claim with a contract extension.

Inter are still set to make major changes to their backline, following the departures of Stefan de Vrij and Francesco Acerbi following the expiration of their contracts.

Denzel Dumfries also left Inter to join Real Madrid, though John Stones is set to join the Serie A side as a free agent, while they are also showing heavy interest in Tottenham's Cristian Romero.
