After arriving in Hong Kong, Semenyo was interviewed by Manchester City TV, where he spoke about his thoughts on Maresca and his expectations for the pre-season.

How do you rate Maresca's training demands?

"Very good, very detailed. He's very meticulous and wants everything to be perfect, which is very similar to Guardiola. This is good for us players, so we've enjoyed working with him so far."

Upon arrival in Hong Kong, the team was greeted by a large number of fans.

"This club is global and has many fans. Seeing so many people welcome us from the airport to the hotel made us feel the strong support here. We look forward to playing in front of them."

You will play against two strong teams, Internazionale and Atletico Madrid, in the pre-season.

"This will prepare the players for the upcoming season. There are many strong teams in the Premier League and the Champions League, and Internazionale and Atletico Madrid are two of them, so we know that playing against them at this stage is a good test for us."

How is your current condition?

"I feel very good, I feel I've rested well. The coach gave me two weeks to relax and adjust, so I'm happy to be back with the team and look forward to the new season."
