In an official Chelsea interview, Wesley Fofana spoke about the team's trip to Australia and new coach Marcos Alonso.

"When I was a kid in Marseille, all I wanted was to get a picture with the players. I always remember that feeling, and we want to bring that feeling to Chelsea fans in Sydney." said Wesley Fofana.

"It's a long way from London, a really long flight! But we know that many fans also come from all over Australia, and even further, to support us. So, if we can give them an autograph or a photo, maybe we can help them realize their dreams."

"Training has been good. There have been a few tough sessions, but we know what we're training for. We want to have a good season, and we're learning a lot, understanding what the new coach expects of us."

"The game against Western Sydney Wanderers was a good test. They played with intensity and showed their strength. At halftime, the coach gave us some detailed reminders, and you could tell he really understands football."

"He was an incredible player, one of the best of his era. So, of course, you listen when he speaks because he has the experience of playing for big clubs and winning everything. He's very good at explaining things and managing players. He and his team are excellent. It's a pleasure to work with them."

"It feels good to be back together after the summer break. Some of us had six weeks off, with time to spend with family and friends. I think that's important for recharging."

"Some players are still at the World Cup, so they'll have a longer break. We've played a lot of games over the last two seasons, you know? So it's important. We all know playing football is a privilege, but sometimes you also need to stop and switch off for a few weeks."

"I spent most of the summer in London – it was hot there! I also went to the Monaco Grand Prix, which was a great experience, but I kept training because having a good season is important. And, of course, leaving the fans with unforgettable memories."
