According to previous reports, Gonzalo Garcia's transfer fee was €40 million + €2 million in floating clauses, and Real Madrid also retained a 30% sell-on clause.

Fulham Football Club is delighted to announce the signing of Gonzalo Garcia from Real Madrid.

The highly-rated 22-year-old forward has signed a five-year contract until the summer of 2031, with the club having an option to extend for a further year.

After completing the signing, Gonzalo told Fulham's official TV channel: "I am full of gratitude and very happy to be here.

"Thank you to the club's board and Arbeloa for their trust in me, I can't wait to start this new journey."
