I would love to see Vinicius in the Premier League. He is such an impactful and exciting player, and people are naturally curious about how he would perform in English football and how he would fare against fullbacks and defenses across the league.

Theoretically, adding his attacking prowess to a very resilient Arsenal would also create a very special effect. He would bring a sense of power and goal threat to Arteta's team, something Arsenal rarely has on the left wing.

Should he do it? It depends on what he values.

If he played for this Arsenal team, it's easier to imagine him winning the trophies that could help him compete for the Ballon d'Or. Real Madrid is the bigger club, but Arsenal is the better team, and they might be closer to winning the Champions League next season.

But with Arteta's progress, combined with the London factor and the chaos and uncertainty elsewhere, Arsenal is now the most compelling option in English football.

Would staying make Real Madrid worse?

Club president Florentino will ensure that one of the world's best attacking players remains for the foreseeable future. But this will also leave the team with many questions to answer.

Real Madrid might feel compelled to keep Vinicius at all costs, but what about tactical fit? Brazilians like Roberto Carlos, Ronaldo, and Marcelo have all etched their names at the Bernabéu, but Vinicius has the potential to surpass them all. He is already Real Madrid's all-time leading Brazilian scorer with 128 goals and was instrumental in helping the team win its last two Champions League titles, scoring in both the 2022 and 2024 finals.

However, at 26, he still gives the impression that his peak is yet to come. There are more La Liga and Champions League titles for him to win. And of course, after he and Real Madrid were angered by missing out on the Ballon d'Or in 2024, there's a Ballon d'Or for him to contend for.
