On behalf of the Argentine Football Association and its Executive Board, we express our firm support for the past decade of your leadership, Mr. President, and through you, we address the FIFA Council. This decade has focused on promoting global football development and strengthening institutional stability through a clear, consistent, and transparent governance model.

Regarding the various recent public events, we must acknowledge FIFA's leadership decision to withdraw a certain proposal—a project that from the outset created more uncertainty than confidence within the football family.

For this reason, we must commend FIFA's leadership for recognizing the mistakes made in this process and for the sincere apologies expressed in the letter sent to FIFA's 211 member associations. Prioritizing governance standards is fundamental to strengthening the positive relationship between FIFA, its member associations, and continental football confederations.

Likewise, as we have previously stated, the current leadership under your guidance has brought profound changes to FIFA, opening doors to all member associations and continental football confederations, allowing us to jointly promote football development at all levels and in all competitions through frank and direct dialogue.

In our view, this transformation is built on a transparent governance model that respects the legal framework and adheres to democratic procedures. These fundamental principles are key to ensuring unity within the football family and their firm commitment to continuously generating progress at both the competitive and institutional levels—progress that will benefit millions of people involved in our beloved sport and improve their quality of life.

Therefore, ahead of the next FIFA Congress, the Argentine Football Association, which I am proud to lead, firmly believes and reaffirms: the right path is to continue working under your leadership, thereby continuing to develop a better and more comprehensive football.
