As coach, Fàbregas spoke about young player Riccardo Casano, whom he believes is very special. He also revealed that Mourinho had the greatest influence on him.

Fàbregas said: "You have to start watching from age six, seven, eight—first look at the basics, then get to know the player. For example, Casano, Ricky Casano, he started training with us three months before the end of the season. The first time went okay, nothing special. The second time was the same, but something made me feel he was different. His approach is very simple. When you watch Busquets or Pirlo play, you'll find one thing. If Pirlo plays badly, the team plays badly. The same goes for Busquets. If they play well, no one talks about them. Do you know what that means? It means their influence is very strong. Mourinho's Influence

When asked which coach had the greatest influence on him, Fàbregas unhesitatingly mentioned Mourinho: "Mourinho completely captivated me. He was amazing—José really impressed me. He would do something specific because he knew it might not work for others; he was too intelligent. Conte was also very good. He is a coach who treats everyone the same from beginning to end—no favoritism. His ideas are very strong."
