After Manchester City's 3-1 pre-season victory over Atlético Madrid, Manchester City striker Marmoush, who scored twice in the match, was interviewed by the club's official media.

Omar, first of all, congratulations. Two goals in two matches. Due to this summer's schedule, you joined the team's Asia tour a little later, so let's start there. How was your summer? How was your experience in the United States?

It was fantastic, absolutely fantastic. It was a wonderful summer. In fact, I got married this summer, so that was the happiest day of my life. Now I'm back, and it's great to rejoin the team.

Absolutely. We also loved seeing your social media posts, and congratulations to you as well. Now, let's talk about the entire Asia tour. Although you arrived a bit late, you still felt the fans' love for you. I don't know if you noticed how many Marmoush jerseys there are here? We noticed it right from the start. How does that feel for you? And what was it like to participate in the local culture? If you haven't seen it yet, there's some great content on the Manchester City official channel featuring you.

It was truly amazing. The culture here is fantastic. I want to thank all the fans for their incredible support. I felt their passion, and we all felt it. The stadium was packed today. The culture here is wonderful, and the food is great. I really enjoy the food here. The experience over these past few weeks has been truly wonderful.

So, what are your thoughts on the new coaching staff, the change of era, and the new philosophy? How has this experience been for you personally?

It's been great. We've been working hard during pre-season to learn new tactics, new movement patterns, and what the coach expects from us. I think we're starting to get the hang of it. Of course, what Pep Guardiola has accomplished here over the past 10 years has been incredible. It's not easy to adapt after a change, but we've done very well. Now we're heading home, and then we'll continue to work hard.

Exactly. Hopefully, when we get back to Manchester, the weather won't be so humid. Your first time here, you played in such hot and humid conditions.

That was my first day here, and I could barely catch my breath. It was so hot and humid. Luckily, today was a bit better.

Indeed, it was much better today. From your perspective, it was also a great match, and you performed exceptionally well. Of course, we'll talk about your two goals later and how Semenyo helped you in the process.

90% of the credit goes to Semenyo.

We'll talk about that later. But for you personally, how does it feel to have played the full match? Of course, we can already see the Community Shield approaching, and you're getting better and better, and you seem to be really enjoying yourself on the pitch.

Of course, I really enjoy it. As a striker, scoring goals gives you confidence and gets you into rhythm. As you said, without Semenyo, I don't think either of these goals would have been possible. I just had to tap the ball into the net. Of course, I want to thank him. It also helped me regain my confidence, and as you said, we're in the pre-season now. This feels good, and now it's about preparing for the Community Shield and moving forward.

When you first made that run for the first goal, Semenyo made a fantastic pass. As you said, after scoring that goal, did it give you more confidence to make the same run again quickly and ultimately score the second goal? It must have felt very special to hear the cheers from the entire stadium, right?

It was amazing. As you said, I actually had three or four chances in the first half where Semenyo broke through and delivered a pass, but I wasn't in the right position in time. So in the second half, all I had on my mind was one thing: to keep running and be in the right place at the right time. The team did their job, and then we won the game. It really felt very, very good.

You performed exceptionally well today. The next match is the Community Shield, but before that, we'll also have an open training session for fans in Manchester. Are you looking forward to this open training?

Absolutely. It's always great to have open training and meet our fans.

Finally, there's a question that many people are very eager to know. You had a celebration at your previous club that involved a prop. Will we see that celebration again, or will you bring more creative celebrations?

You'll see, you'll see. I don't want to...

Keep it a secret?

Yes, a secret.

All right, Omar, congratulations. Have a safe journey back, and I hope you get some good rest and enjoy a few days off.

Thank you very much.
