Official news: Premier League promoted side Hull City sign Swedish midfielder Elliot Stroud.

Hull City officially announced that the club has signed Swedish international Elliot Stroud from Swedish top-tier club Mjällby AIF for an undisclosed fee.

The 24-year-old Stroud has signed a four-year contract with Hull City, which also includes an option for the club to extend for an additional year.

The versatile wing-back participated in all four of Sweden's 2026 World Cup matches. He made his national team debut in June this year in a pre-World Cup warm-up match against Greece and has since made 5 appearances for Sweden.

Stroud is a left-footed player who can play as a full-back or winger. In his three and a half years at Mjällby, he made 109 appearances, scoring 27 goals and providing 14 assists.
