According to Mundo Deportivo, Elche's general manager, Ginoqa, discussed several transfer market-related topics at a press conference, including the possibility of Héctor Fort's return.

The report states that last season, Héctor Fort played for Elche on loan. Although he is currently training under Flick for preseason, he still doesn't have a place at Barcelona for the 2026-27 season.

Ginoqa referred to the possibility of Héctor Fort rejoining Elche as "transfer market rumors," whether it be another loan or a permanent transfer.

The coach who previously had great faith in Fort, Eder Sarabia, has already left, which also makes this hypothetical return loan or transfer for the right-back less likely.
