The summer transfer window is now counting down, and little time remains for the Red Devils to complete their signings. Former Manchester United defender Ferdinand believes the club should seize the opportunity to sign young Arsenal player Lewis-Skelly as soon as possible.

Ferdinand said: "If I were Manchester United, I would press the confirm button now and sign him, act immediately."

"This player is outstanding, absolutely top-tier. After getting the opportunity at the end of last season, he quickly became an important member of the team, helping Arsenal challenge for the league title. His performance has been amazing; he shows a high level every time he plays."

Ferdinand continued: "If he can really be sold at the right price, then he must be signed. I think a suitable price is between £60 million and £70 million."

"If a deal can be completed at this price, then the money should be paid and the signing sealed immediately, without any hesitation. If I were Manchester United, I would definitely sign him."

"He is young, exceptionally talented, can play in two positions, and I think his mental fortitude is also perfectly fine."
