Former Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Jamie O'Hara said on the show that he believes his old club should try to sign Rashford.

O'Hara stated on Sky Sports' Spurs Summer Special podcast that Tottenham Hotspur manager De Zerbi is the "perfect manager" for Rashford.

"I like Sávio. From what I've seen, he has some bright spots. He didn't fully perform at Manchester City, but he's clearly a talented player," O'Hara said.

"I also like Gakpo, but his problem is that it might take him four or five chances to score a goal, though he does have something. I wouldn't be disappointed if we signed him—he's a player I wouldn't mind."

"I just don't understand why we're not going after Rashford. I really think Tottenham Hotspur should just ask, 'How much do you want? What price can we get him for?'"

"I know he's on £350,000 a week, which Tottenham Hotspur obviously might not be able to afford, but he's a very good player."

"If you bring him here, and he has the motivation to prove himself, I truly believe he's still one of the best players."

"If he stays at Manchester United, I think he'll play, so I just don't understand why we haven't shown interest in him."

O'Hara believes the 28-year-old forward would be a good fit for the "big signing" De Zerbi mentioned last month.

"I think De Zerbi is the perfect manager for a player like Rashford. He would bring out the best in him," O'Hara said.

"I think he would be a good signing for us. Maybe he doesn't want to join Tottenham Hotspur, or he might be considering other options."

"But the left wing is still a position we need to strengthen. Mathys Tel is a good young player, but he's not the answer."

"We have to sign a top player who can take the team to another level and really push us forward."

"If we have the money, and it seems like we do, and De Zerbi has publicly said we'll sign another big-name player, then go and make it happen."
