Romano Schmid has completed his move to Frosinone from Werder Bremen in a deal worth €8m.

The Austrian midfielder makes the step from the Bundesliga to Serie A in what represents a significant outlay for the Italian club. Frosinone have secured one of Bremen's key midfielders ahead of the new season.
