According to transfer reporter Romano, Aston Villa has reached an agreement with Zion Suzuki on personal terms and is close to agreeing on a €35 million transfer deal with Parma.

Romano stated that there are still details to be finalized before the Japanese goalkeeper's move to Aston Villa is complete, as his previous deal with Paris Saint-Germain fell through.
