Galatasaray are preparing a £43 million bid for Bruno Fernandes, but Manchester United are adamant about not selling their captain, according to the Daily Telegraph.

Manchester United are strongly against selling their captain Bruno Fernandes, whose current after-tax earnings could double if the Portuguese midfielder joins Turkish champions Galatasaray.
Galatasaray are prepared to double Bruno Fernandes' wages in an attempt to convince the Portuguese midfielder to leave Manchester United.
The Turkish champions are reportedly preparing to test Manchester United's resolve regarding their captain this week, with a planned bid totalling €50 million, approximately £42.8 million, including add-ons.
Galatasaray president Dursun Özbek is determined to sign Bruno Fernandes. It is understood that Galatasaray are willing to offer the Manchester United captain a 4-year contract with an annual after-tax salary of €21 million, approximately £18.3 million, plus a €4 million signing bonus.
Turkey's favorable tax system means that if Bruno Fernandes transfers to Galatasaray, his current after-tax income could double.
Bruno Fernandes, 31, has entered the final 12 months of his contract with Manchester United, where he currently earns around £200,000 per week, though United have an option to extend for another year.
The Daily Telegraph Sport understands that Manchester United are firmly opposed to selling Bruno Fernandes, as the club views him as a core player in their plans.
It is understood that a release clause in Bruno Fernandes' contract, which would have allowed him to transfer this summer for €65 million, approximately £55.6 million, expired last month.
However, this seems unlikely to deter Galatasaray. In the coming days, they may submit a proposal with an initial transfer fee of €35 million, payable in three installments until 2028, plus €15 million in add-ons.
Özbek is reportedly personally handling this transfer. Bruno Fernandes has also been linked with Juventus and AC Milan this summer, having previously rejected lucrative offers from Saudi Arabia.
Performance-related add-ons include €1.5 million for each Süper Lig title won, up to a maximum of €6 million; an additional €2 million if Bruno Fernandes becomes the league's top assist provider in his first season, or €1.5 million if he achieves this in his second season.
Manchester United would also secure €1 million if Galatasaray qualify for the Champions League next season; an additional €1 million if the Turkish club reaches the Champions League round of 16; and another €3.5 million if they reach the quarterfinals.
Bruno Fernandes has consistently demanded that Manchester United match his ambition, with competing for top-level trophies always being his most important motivation.
Manchester United manager Michael Carrick hopes to strengthen the squad before the transfer window closes in two weeks. So far, United's only first-team new signings this summer are midfielders Tielemans and Andre Santos, and reserve goalkeeper Dalot.
Manchester United are looking for a left-back, and it remains to be seen whether they will sign another midfielder or forward.
