This week, Jan-Diomande accepted an exclusive interview with Sporty TV. In the third part of the interview (which we divided into three parts due to its length), he talked about his expectations for the future and the handwritten letter he wrote during the World Cup.

Everyone on the team is great, and I get along very well with everyone.

I'm so happy for you to hear this news. There was a widely circulated photo of you wearing a Manchester United jersey with Ronaldo's name on it. Now you've come to Real Madrid, where Ronaldo once shined, and you're also a loyal fan of Ronaldo. What does this mean to you?

Everyone knows Ronaldo is my idol, and still is. Now that I'm at Real Madrid, every time I come to the training ground and see those old photos, it still feels surreal, as if everything recorded in the photos is vivid in my mind. I am incredibly proud to play for the club my idol once played for.

Standing on the field where my idol once galloped, everything feels incredibly unreal.

Yes, it's like a dream. Even now, I still feel like I'm dreaming. I can't believe it.

The new season is about to begin, and you'll be on the field soon. How about sharing your World Cup experience?

It was a great experience, my first World Cup. We didn't expect to go so far, but personally, I gained a lot. Our national team has the strength to go further, and I look forward to our performance in the next one.

Representing your country in the World Cup at such a young age, regardless of the outcome, this experience must be invaluable.

That's right, I was the youngest player in the national team's World Cup squad, which makes me very proud and motivates me to work harder for more honors.

During the World Cup, the letter you wrote to your sister circulated widely online, touching countless people. Why was writing that letter so important to you?

My sister always encouraged me never to give up. We have many stories. I'm not a sentimental person, but that was a good opportunity to share my journey with the world. She constantly urged me to persevere and make my dreams come true. If I achieve something, she would be genuinely happy for me.

In the letter, you wrote, "Everything I do is for you." Is that still the case?

Of course.

In the letter, you also mentioned either proving everything to her or fighting with all your might. How will this transfer to Real Madrid help you fulfill this expectation?

Real Madrid is the best club in the world. I came here to prove myself. The club invested a huge transfer fee in me, and everyone expects me to perform, but I don't feel any pressure.

You feel no pressure at all?

Yes, the squad is very strong, and the club is willing to invest in me because they believe in me. What do I have to fear? I have no pressure. I just need to be myself on the field and control what I can, and leave the rest to fate.

Focus on football itself?

Exactly, that's all.

If your sister saw you join Real Madrid, what do you think she would say to you?

We still have many goals to achieve. We are on the right track, and we need to keep working hard.

Finally, is there anything you want to say to Real Madrid fans?

I'm a bit shy—I will give my all for the club. The club paid a high transfer fee for me, and I will definitely do my best.
