Monza will visit reigning champions Internazionale in the opening match of the new Serie A season, and Monza coach Ivan Jurić previewed the match.

"Internazionale are from another planet. They have been playing like this for many years. Their philosophy is consistent, and they are the strongest team in Italy," Jurić said at the pre-match press conference.
"I don't want to go to San Siro just to defend. We will definitely face difficulties, but I like to take the initiative. We will face Internazionale with our heads held high."
"We are currently experiencing a serious shortage of personnel due to injuries and transfers. There are obvious shortcomings in the team, but the players are performing well. Pessina and Akpa Akpro will not be available."
"We will try to enjoy the game, and I will tell the players that. I am happy with the new signings; they are exactly the type we are looking for. They don't have much experience, but there is still a lot of room for growth."
"I will stick to my path. We have young players who are full of desire, and veterans who hope to continue improving themselves. We will train comprehensively in terms of physical fitness and tactical concepts."
