Chelsea legend Joe Cole believes the club's £100 million asking price for Pedro Neto is "ridiculous." He stated that no rational football insider would be willing to pay that price, but admitted that Saudi clubs might be willing to meet Chelsea's demands.

Joe Cole said in an interview: "£100 million is indeed a bit ridiculous. Saudi clubs might pay that money because money is not an issue for them, but I don't think Manchester City would spend £100 million on Pedro Neto.
"I think there's a lot of Saudi capital in the consortium running Chelsea, so who knows? Maybe Chelsea is insisting on £100 million because they know the Saudis might eventually come in with an offer. I don't think a rational football professional would spend £100 million on Pedro Neto. I think his value is only half of that, about £50 million to £60 million."
Despite criticizing Chelsea's valuation, Joe Cole still greatly appreciates Neto's technical ability and on-field attitude. He particularly emphasized the Portuguese star's tactical flexibility, considering it a major advantage for any team.
Joe Cole said: "I really like him as a player. He looks very combative, like a real fighter. He can play on the left and right, and if the team needs him, he can even play as a wing-back. He has many strengths and is now an experienced Premier League player."
