On August 22, Dutch giants Ajax officially announced that the club had reached an agreement with Udinese for the loan signing of 17-year-old midfielder Abdoulaye Camara.

According to the agreement, Camara will join Ajax on a one-season loan deal, with an option for Ajax to make the move permanent. However, the transfer still requires the completion of several necessary procedures before it can be finalized.

Camara was born on September 28, 2008, in Conakry, Guinea, and began his football career in France. In the summer of 2023, he joined Montpellier's youth academy.

In mid-2025, Camara moved to Serie A club Udinese, where he primarily played for the reserve team while gradually gaining experience.

On May 17, 2026, Camara reached a significant career milestone when he made his first-team debut during Udinese’s Serie A match against Cremonese.

After joining Ajax on loan, Camara will link up with Ajax’s U23 team once the transfer procedures are completed. For the 17-year-old, the loan move represents an important opportunity to receive elite-level training and gain competitive match experience.
