Beijing time (CEST) August 26 — According to a report from Abraham P. Romero, Real Madrid's accompanying reporter for Spain's "World Cup", Celta de Vigo's right-back Javi Rueda is set to transfer to Nottingham Forest, with Real Madrid receiving 50% of the player's transfer fee.

The report points out that Rueda's transfer fee will be significantly lower than his current contract's €30-35 million release clause, though his salary will increase considerably after joining Nottingham Forest.

The 24-year-old joined Celta de Vigo on a free transfer in the summer of 2023, with Real Madrid retaining a 50% sell-on clause as part of the agreement.
