On August 27, Besiktas officially announced that the club had reached an agreement in principle with Juventus regarding the transfer of Fabio Miretti. The player has arrived in Istanbul and will undergo a medical examination, after which he will complete the official signing.

At Atatürk Airport's General Aviation Terminal, Besiktas club board member Aykut Torunoğlulları, responsible for external relations and overseas fan associations, along with club fan representatives, welcomed Miretti.

Torunoğlulları stated in an interview with Besiktas Digital Media: "Welcome to Istanbul and to Besiktas, Miretti. We hope he can quickly integrate into the team. He is a young player, and thanks to the efforts and firm determination of our president, new players are continuously joining the team. We hope all of this will ultimately bring good fortune to the club and the entire Besiktas family."

Miretti stated in an interview with Besiktas Digital Media that he was very happy and excited to join the team.

He said: "Everyone at the club and our head coach wanted me to come here. I will do my best to help the club achieve the best results and success."

"These colors are not unfamiliar to me. I really like this jersey."

As Miretti left the airport, he waved to the enthusiastic Besiktas fans who had come to welcome him and received their cheers.
