According to the latest reports from La Gazzetta dello Sport, Manchester United forward Zirkzee is close to leaving, and the Red Devils are now targeting Freiburg forward Matanovic.

According to previous reports by journalist Schira, Fiorentina is currently advancing transfer negotiations for Zirkzee and has offered Manchester United a deal worth €5 million on loan plus a €25 million buyout option.

La Gazzetta dello Sport points out that as Zirkzee moves closer to leaving Old Trafford, Manchester United has turned its attention to Freiburg striker Matanovic. The 23-year-old Croatian scored 15 goals last season and could provide competition for Sesko.
