Nottingham Forest is reportedly progressing with a deal to sign midfielder Harrison Armstrong from Everton.

The 19-year-old has made 22 appearances for Everton's first team, with negotiations centring on a transfer worth approximately £40 million, including a sell-on clause.

Armstrong previously had loan spells at Championship clubs Derby County and Preston North End before returning to Everton earlier this year, when he integrated into David Moyes' first-team squad.
