Sneijder believes that if Inter defeats Napoli and achieves a good result against Real Madrid away, the outside world will consider the team to be contenders for the Champions League final and the Serie A title.

Sneijder was interviewed by reporters at a Betsson.Sport event, where he discussed Inter.

Sneijder said: "Napoli and Real Madrid? It's best to face these two strong teams immediately, so that going to Madrid later will be easier. We have to give 100% in both matches. Although the season has just started, the team must send a signal to everyone. If Inter wins tomorrow and gets a good result in Madrid, everyone will think that Inter might reach the Champions League final and compete for the Serie A title."
