According to Tuttosport, Juventus has placed Kalulu's contract renewal on the agenda. After the transfer window closes, securing a new contract with the French defender has become a priority for the club.

Kalulu, who initially joined Juventus on loan as a "Plan C" option (after negotiations for Calafiori and Todibo fell through), has now become an indispensable core player. Last season, he led the team with 4,381 minutes played, and even with Çelik's arrival this summer, he remains the most reliable part of the defense.
His current after-tax annual salary is approximately €2.5 million, with a contract running until 2029. However, Tuttosport believes this salary no longer reflects his performances and importance to the team. The player and his agent are aware of the situation, and the club also recognizes his value. All parties are open to beginning contract negotiations.
Juventus hopes to accelerate the renewal process following the match against Milan, partly to prevent any future transfer speculation. Kalulu has evolved from a loaned player to a team leader, and the club is keen to secure his long-term future at Juventus.
