Arsenal secured a narrow win at Napoli on Wednesday night and, as they attempted to see out the game, Mikel Arteta lamented three of his players for not tracking back
Mikel Arteta was seen letting rip at three of his attacking players during Arsenal's win over Napoli - demanding that they work off the ball.
The Gunners kept up their perfect start to the season after winning in Naples, owing to Martin Odegaard's strike on 75 minutes. The Premier League champions though were wasteful throughout as they spurned numerous chances.
After missing one that would've made it 2-0, Arteta felt that Kai Havertz, Noni Madueke and Christos Tzolis weren't tracking back as Napoli countered in an attempt to score a late equaliser.
The Arsenal boss blasted the trio, demanding that they get back into position, which was spotted by TNT Sports co-commentator Lucy Ward.

She said: "Mikel Arteta was absolutely raging on the sidelines that Havertz, Madueke and Tzolis weren’t recovering after that attack. It was so interesting. As the Arsenal attack finished, those three all sort of ambled back, and Mikel Arteta ran down the sidelines and shouted at them to recover."
Arsenal were able to hold out as they secured victory in what will be one of their more challenging away days in the Champions League. Although they do still face a daunting trip to Bayern Munich later in the tournament.
Arteta was full of praise for how his side performed and felt the narrow margin of victory didn't highlight how dominant they were, but admitted that they were wasteful in front of goal.

He said after the game: "We fully deserved the three points. The performance probably doesn’t reflect the result, the team was superb. We showed quality in a lot of moments to break them down and it was a shame because we missed so many great chances.
"On any other day the result would be different. We should have done it in a different way because of the amount of chances we created but we got the win in the end."
On his Norwegian match winner he added: "Martin is contributing with goals that are impacting results which is what we want from our attacking players. We want them to be decisive and certainly he was again today."
