Feyenoord has taken strict measures following incidents during their away match against SC Cambuur. The Rotterdam club has identified 47 supporters and immediately imposed a local stadium ban from De Kuip.

Additionally, these supporters' away match tickets have been blocked. Feyenoord has also reported the 47 individuals to the KNVB, which may result in a nationwide ban.

"Within the coming days, these 47 individuals will be informed that they have immediately received a local stadium ban from De Kuip, their away match tickets have been blocked, and they have been reported to the KNVB for a potential nationwide ban," Feyenoord wrote in a statement. "The reason is misconduct in the away section during the SC Cambuur vs. Feyenoord match on August 23."

During that match, Feyenoord supporters set off a large amount of fireworks in the 12th minute, some of which landed in the stands occupied by Cambuur fans, injuring seven people.

Injured fans primarily suffered hearing damage, burns, and eye injuries. Feyenoord goalkeeper Ernst also narrowly escaped injury after dodging a direct hit from a flare.

Feyenoord stated that these bans result from several weeks of in-depth investigation. The club reviewed extensive video footage to identify the involved supporters and determine their roles in the incident.

The club is also pursuing supporters who allegedly organized the pyrotechnic display, displayed banners, attempted to evade video surveillance, or personally ignited fireworks. Criminal charges against those involved have not been ruled out.

The KNVB and public prosecutor will decide whether to take further action. Feyenoord had previously decided to prevent supporters from attending the next two away matches.
