Barcelona's home stadium, Camp Nou, has reportedly become the top contender to host the 2029 Champions League final.

According to Roger Saperas, a journalist from Catalunya Ràdio, Camp Nou is now the strongest candidate to host the 2029 Champions League final, with UEFA's official announcement of the venue expected on Tuesday local time.

The newly completed Camp Nou stadium was officially put into use last season. The original Camp Nou previously hosted two Champions League finals: AC Milan's 4-0 victory over Steaua București in 1989 and Manchester United's 2-1 comeback victory against Bayern Munich in 1999.
