Spain have won all six of their Euro 2020 qualifying matches after Rodrigo Moreno scored twice in a 4-0 victory over the Faroe Islands.

Rodrigo Moreno and Paco Alcacer scored two goals each as Spain claimed a 4-0 win over the Faroe Islands to maintain their 100 per cent record in Euro 2020 qualifying.

Rodrigo's goals - one in each half - and a late double from substitute Alcacer made sure the Euro 2012 winners avoided embarassment against Group F's stragglers, but the visitors deserved credit for stifling Spain's strikers for long periods.

The home side make the breakthrough with 13 minutes on the clock - and it is a goal that has been coming since kick-off. Rodri prods the ball through for Oyarzabal, who has Nielsen breathing right down his throat. Rather than try to poke the ball home, he taps it to his right and Rodrigo has a simple finish into an empty net.

Hendriksson Olsen takes out Thiago and a free-kick is awarded 25 yards from goal. Suso has only one thing in his mind but strikes the ball against the wall.

Thiago makes a smart run in behind and stays on his feet despite a slight nudge inside the box. He is unable to bring it under control and a promising attack comes to an end.

Spain have injected some urgency into their game in the second half and they have doubled their tally through Rodrigo's heavily-deflected shot. He cuts onto his left foot and curls the ball goalwards, though it probably would not have gone in without the deflection.

Alcacer puts some gloss on the scoreline by adding a third for Spain. Thiago plays a quick one-two to create some space for himself in the area and picks out Alcacer on the edge of the six-yard box for a first-time finish past Nielsen.

90+2' GOAL! Spain 4-0 Faroe Islands (Alcacer)

This is a little harsh on Faroe Islands, who have simply switched off in the final stages of the contest. Alcacer gets in front of Nielsen and heads Gaya's left-sided cross into the back of the net. As simple as you like.
