Konyaspor goalkeeper Serkan Kirintili received the fastest ever red card in Turkish football after he was dismissed with just 13 seconds gone in a bizarre incident on Monday night.

Playing against Yeni Malatyaspor, Kirintili raced out of his penalty area to catch the ball in the opening exchanges.

Although Yeni Malatyaspor posed an attacking threat, Kirintili's decision was still rather bizarre and he ended up being punished.

Before he was dismissed, Kirintili had already taken off his gloves as he awaited his inevitable fate.

Kirintili looked distraught as he was shown the red card, and to make matters worse,  Konyaspor went on to lose 2-0, with Guilherme and Robin Yalcin scoring.
