According to Di Marzio, Ludogorets has contacted Giuseppe Iachini to take over as head coach. The Bulgarian club, which has accumulated 23 points in the first nine rounds of the league, has already opened discussions with the Italian tactician.

Iachini's most recent coaching position was in 2024, when he managed Bari from February to April, overseeing 10 matches. During that spell, he recorded 2 wins, 2 draws, and 6 losses.
Iachini's coaching career has included stints at Parma, Fiorentina, Empoli, Sassuolo, Udinese, Palermo, Siena, Sampdoria, Brescia, Chievo, Piacenza, Vicenza, and Cesena. Now he could embark on a new challenge abroad, with Ludogorets having initiated talks.
