Alessandro Bocci, a journalist for "Corriere della Sera," wrote an article making a merciless summary of Milan's current dire situation. In his opinion, the 0-2 home defeat to Benfica in the Europa League was the bitter fruit of a problematic plan: the team's weak attitude, frequent defensive lapses, and chaotic tactical arrangements.

Bocci not only pointed the finger at head coach Ruben Amorim and the disappointing performance of Gonçalo Ramos, but also questioned owner Gerry Cardinale's team planning. In his view, Milan's technical team changes too frequently, from Paulo Fonseca to Allegri, and now the Portuguese Amorim, the club has never been able to form a clear and stable idea.

Amorim's contradictions: from ratings and transfers to tactical excuses

In this strong criticism, Bocci believes that Amorim himself is also to blame. He believes that the Portuguese coach has obvious problems in starting lineup arrangements, rotation management, and his relationship with Milan's locker room veterans.

In addition, Amorim's inconsistent remarks also became a key point of Bocci's criticism. Just before the match against Juventus, Amorim had given Milan's summer transfer operations a perfect "10 out of 10" rating; however, only 11 days later, his attitude changed, and he began to complain that the team did not have players suitable for executing his tactical system.

This lack of coherent team-building ideas ultimately created a "disorganized" team, and Gonçalo Ramos's performance is the most intuitive microcosm.
