"There are certainly many excellent people behind the scenes at Manchester United, but what's most important to me is that they have an English manager (Michael Carrick) and English assistant coach (Steve Holland). When the right time comes and they believe he's ready, they'll protect him... and when they feel he's ready, they'll play him.

"This isn't just an isolated incident; it's a common situation in football. These exceptionally talented young players have parents, agents, and other outside influences around them, and some of these factors push and force them to develop too quickly, which can damage a child's career.

"This creates enormous pressure. And if you're another club watching this, you'd also think: 'Yes, this kid is very talented,' but are you willing to take on the trouble and public pressure that comes with it?

"Take Mourinho at Real Madrid as an example. Even if he were managing Real Madrid now, would Mourinho immediately play this kid? Would he be forced to play him? You know how these top managers are; they only play young players when they're ready to contribute to the team.

"In my view, they need to care for this child's health and development, and Manchester United can do that; they have a history of doing so. I don't see any reason to rush or panic.

"I don't know what's been said or promised behind the scenes, but from the outside, it appears someone is pushing, forcing, and accelerating the process. I don't think this will help the child.

"As I said, I'm one of Manchester United's biggest rivals, but I always keep an eye on them from afar. They have excellent coaches and staff there. I know Michael Carrick very well, and if this child is ready, he'll get his opportunity."

Former Chelsea and England midfielder Joe Cole added: "JJ-Gabriel's situation at Manchester United shocks me greatly because this kid is at a very good club, and this club has an excellent reputation for developing young players.

"You can think about the 'Class of '92,' and right up to now, they've consistently developed and nurtured young players.

"But I can't understand what his advisory team is thinking behind the scenes. Because he's clearly valued by the club and the club clearly wants to help him continue developing, so why would he want to leave?"
