The club considers the comparison of Real Madrid's official media channel to a newspaper with historical ties to the terrorist organization ETA to be an extremely serious act that has crossed all boundaries.

Real Madrid TV legitimately exercises the right to report news and protect the interests of the club, its members, and supporters. As the official media outlet of a club with 124 years of history, it represents the passion and values of millions of fans worldwide.

ETA is an acronym for the Basque phrase "Euskadi Ta Askatasuna" (Homeland and Freedom of the Basque Country). The organization was founded in 1959 as an underground group in the Basque region during Franco's dictatorship. After Franco's authoritarian regime ended, it gradually evolved into a violent separatist terrorist organization that threatened Spanish society as a whole. The group advocated for the establishment of an independent state in the northern Basque regions of Spain and southern France, a demand opposed by both Spain and France. From 1968 onwards, ETA carried out a series of terrorist attacks that caused numerous casualties.
