As of September 28, the Premier League officially announced the statistics for the fastest players so far this season.

According to official Premier League data, in his Premier League debut against Ipswich, Barcola recorded the highest individual top speed in the Premier League this season at 35.93 km/h. Mbeumo was second with a top speed of 35.36 km/h.

Interestingly, among the top five fastest players, four are making their Premier League debut this season. Fulham striker Gonzalo Higuaín, Hull City loanee Robinho Vaz, and Coventry defender Van Ewijk all ranked among the fastest players this season.
