On October 2, Transfermarkt updated the market values of Bundesliga players. Olise's value rose to €180 million, while Musiala fell €20 million to €80 million. Transfermarkt's management explained the reasons behind these changes.

In this Bundesliga market value update, 147 players saw their valuations increase or decrease. The most impressive performance came from Bayer Leverkusen, with squad value rising €39.5 million, followed by Freiburg (+€32.7 million) and RB Leipzig (+€27 million). Despite being Germany's biggest club, Bayern Munich's squad value increased only slightly by €1 million, primarily due to inconsistent form among star players.
Olise's value rises to €180 million
The biggest winner in this market value update was RB Leipzig winger Nusa, with his value increasing €13 million to €45 million. Nusa has become the center of attention after helping Norway achieve strong results at the World Cup and gradually establishing his importance at Leipzig. Transfermarkt's Bundesliga administrator Weissenstein commented: "Following his impressive performances for Norway, the 21-year-old winger appears to have finally found his rhythm in the Bundesliga. He has shown his talent and passion for football for a long time, and this season he has turned that passion into goals, marking significant progress in his personal development."
Another player with a significant market value increase in this update is Olise. The Bayern Munich winger's value rose €10 million to an impressive €180 million, setting a new all-time Bundesliga record. Globally, only four players in history have surpassed this figure.
Tobias Kröger, Head of Market Values at Transfermarkt, added: "Olise continues to lead the Bundesliga market value rankings and has set a new Bundesliga record of €180 million. The French winger delivers world-class performances week in, week out, consistently proving that he is one of the world's best and most valuable players." Worldwide, only Yamal, Haaland, and Mbappé have higher market values than Olise.
Dortmund defender Gädou's value rises €8 million to €28 million
Another young French star determined to continue improving in the Bundesliga is Dortmund defender Gädou. He joined from Austria's Red Bull Salzburg this summer for €19.5 million. The market value of this defender continues to rise alongside his performances for the black and yellow. In this market value update, the 19-year-old's value increased by a further €8 million to €28 million, making him the seventh most valuable center-back in the Bundesliga.
"The 19-year-old newcomer from Red Bull Salzburg seized his opportunity in the starting lineup and quickly became an indispensable key player for Dortmund," Weissenstein said. "At 1.95 meters tall, Gädou not only possesses the ideal height for a center-back, but his pace, exceeding 36 km/h, also makes him one of the fastest players in the Bundesliga and European competitions this season. He has performed particularly well in one-on-one defensive duels."
Musiala's market value drops sharply by €20 million to €80 million
In this update, Musiala's market value fell sharply by €20 million to €80 million, reaching its lowest level since September 2022. As a star player, Musiala previously failed to meet Germany's expectations at the World Cup. During pre-season training, he suffered from a nerve-related issue involving temporary loss of consciousness, and upon returning to the pitch, Musiala faced another setback when he sustained a muscle injury in a Germany friendly against the Netherlands in the Nations League.
As a result, Musiala's market value has fallen €20 million in consecutive updates. Kröger commented: "Unfortunately, Musiala's market value has been affected by recent months. Due to various health issues and subsequent fluctuations in form, the German international's value has declined to €80 million."
