How special is it for you to play for Argentina again?

"I am very happy to wear this jersey again. For me, it has a special meaning."

How much did not being able to participate in the World Cup affect you?

"Not being able to participate in the World Cup made me very sad. Since then, my main focus has been to train hard and prove myself worthy of being called up again."

How did you feel about scoring your first goal for the national team?

"Scoring that goal made me very happy. It's a moment I've been looking forward to and always hoped to experience."

Do you feel a lot of pressure around you?

"People have very high expectations of me, and I understand that."

Mastantuono then explained that since turning professional at 16, he has always faced high external expectations. However, he is also trying to focus more on his personal performance and what the team needs.

Which position do you prefer to play?

"I like to have freedom, moving between the wings and the center, but as long as the team needs me, I can play wherever I'm needed."
