According to journalist Nizaar Kinsella, AFC Bournemouth hope that their 20-year-old forward Elye Junior Crupi will be back in action by November at the latest. The French attacker suffered a foot injury during pre-season training and underwent surgery, and is currently still recovering.

At the end of July, Crupi sustained a foot injury during a training session while AFC Bournemouth were undergoing pre-season training in Austria. He subsequently returned to the UK for surgery, with the current goal for him to return to the pitch before next month's international break.
Last season, Crupi performed exceptionally well under former coach Jude Bellingham, making 33 Premier League appearances for AFC Bournemouth and scoring 13 goals. He also became the first teenage player to score at least 10 goals in his debut Premier League season since Robbie Keane, who played for Coventry City in the 1999/00 season.
However, due to injury, Crupi has yet to make an appearance under new coach Marco Rose this season.
Previously, several European giants, including Arsenal and PSG, were linked with a move for Crupi. However, AFC Bournemouth believe that the young forward can play an important role in the second half of the season, and therefore the club will not allow him to leave in the January transfer window.
In addition to Crupi, AFC Bournemouth also have no intention of selling midfielder Alex Scott in the January window. Scott is currently suffering from a thigh injury and is expected to be out for up to 8 weeks, but the club still considers him an important member of the squad.
So far this season, AFC Bournemouth have not secured a win in their first 5 Premier League matches. However, the team has successfully advanced in the EFL Cup and will host Aston Villa in the Round of 16 match on October 28.
Furthermore, AFC Bournemouth secured their first European victory before this international break, defeating Real Sociedad away in the Europa League.
