Al-Nassr coach Postecoglou stated that Ronaldo is currently in excellent physical and mental condition, but he preferred not to comment on the controversy surrounding him with the Portuguese national team.

Ronaldo attracted attention last week after leaving the Portuguese national team's training camp in Denmark early due to a disagreement with head coach Fernando Santos over his participation in the match against Norway.
Postecoglou addressed the topic at the pre-match press conference for Al-Nassr's game against Al-Diriyah, which will be held this Friday at Al-Awwal Park Stadium as part of Saudi Pro League Matchday 8.
Postecoglou said: "Ronaldo returned in great shape, mentally and physically ready, and that's the most important thing."
He added: "As for the national team and that incident, I've also been a national team coach myself, and I've always believed club coaches should not comment on what happens in national teams."
Postecoglou also stated: "Ronaldo gives his all when he plays for us, and his morale is very high. Now I am his coach at Al-Nassr. He is very important to us, and I don't like to discuss what happens with his national team."
Postecoglou also congratulated the Saudi team on winning the 27th Arabian Gulf Cup. He said: "Congratulations to the Saudi team, the players, and the technical and administrative staff; winning this championship is very important."
Regarding the preparation time provided by the international break, Postecoglou said: "We gained an extra two weeks of preparation time, which is longer than usual, even though the international players were not with the team."
