Kano Pillars gaffer, Ibrahim Musa says his charges are prepared and ready to battle against ABS FC when both team face on match day 26 in the Nigeria Professional Football League.

In Pillars' last three visits to ABS from 2011 to 2013, they scored a total of six goals and conceded four which has earned them two wins and a draw.

"The team isn't relenting, everyone is working hard and as we look up to our next match which is a road trip to ABS FC, We want to go there and win," Musa told Goal.

"Like I told you some days back, we want to get more wins on the road and what better time can we target that than now. 

"We are coming from a good win against an equally talented side, like MFM who we defeated 3-1 in Kano. So we are confident as we continue the push to the top on the league table.

"There are a lot of positives in the team but one that has been obvious in the team is the love and team work. Everyone has been involved from the players, the technical crew, the management and the fans. So the confidence to battle for honors is good.

"We defeated ABS 1-0 here in Kano this season though they are a youthful side with lots of potential but meeting them in our next match will give us another opportunity to probably complete a double over them this season. My players and everyone at the club are good to go."
